In the height of the season the Canal du Midi is alive with families canal boating and exploring the country side. The lock a popular meeting spot for boaters is about 5 minutes from the village and house. Along the canal the cycle paths and walkways provide quite havens for fishing and sightseeing.

Looking up the road (direction Carcassonne) you can see the Village house on the right hand side. 

Behind us is the Post Office, and the street just on the right of this picture leads down to the Canal du Midi (see picture opposite)

The picture at the top of this section shows the Canal du Midi, you can get to it by going down this street to the left of the Post Office. 

Just past the house, looking toward (direction Carcassonne) the village sites on the top of a hill, hence the excellent views.
